We know what SWT means by 'wild' so doing something wild can be interpreted in many ways. Some suggestions below.

Cutting down trees
Installing barbed wire fencing
Sitting in front of a computer looking for something to tweet or retweet.
Making sure farm animals are eating any wild plants daring to show their faces.
Sticking up notices telling people how wild you are when you're anything but.

Visiting Songsters

The air was full of warbling this morning. The cuckoo was calling after taking a break during the recent cold spell.

And the fair-weather bird watchers were arriving - two hours later than the regulars who by then were on their way home. Robins and wrens and blackbirds were doing their best to hold their own in the face of the invasion.

Sycamore Host

Wood Sorrel was in flower in some places but no really good examples until this on a Sycamore's trunk as an epiphyte. Perhaps its reputation should be reviewed.

Changing Times

I'm seeing more and more of these all over the landscape.

As schoolboys we would be likely to get into trouble for dropping a toffee paper or a bus ticket, even accidentally. Now it would hardly be a surprise to learn that cracking down on the release of these would be classed as anti-business.

Dancing in the Woods

Strictly no competition when the Roe Deer are moving fast.  But first you've got to see them.

Then follow their speed dancing.

When you think you may have lost them they could be watching you.

Scare and Smear

In Sheffield it's elections time.

Political parties in this city are utterly negative. Their aim is to get elected by frightening the public from voting for all the others. I support none of them but will vote for that I consider to have been most honest in campaigning.

All the council seats in this area are presently held by LibDem councillors. Wouldn't it be good to be able to say something positive about them? I've tried and can't.

The latest electioneering stunt by the LibDems is a claim that the presnt administration (Labour) plans to sell off public parks.

Well we know that Blacka Moor is a public park and was sold off, but by whom? Answer: the LibDems. I've raised the issue of selling off Burbage and Houndkirk with local councillors and LibDem leaders. They refused to even discuss it.

How can one respect these people?
