A quite cold start with dew on the grass but the find this morning was heavier and longer than the previous one. A kilogram and a half (just over three pounds), and 27 inches to the top points.
Just imagine running with two of those on your head! This antler has a 'full complement' of brow point, bay (although that's broken off presumably in a struggle), tray and three on top.
The deer themselves were elsewhere, feasting on salad from the fresh new rowan leaves.
