I found your website and I must say I am very impressed, I used to work with SWT as a countryside ranger and hated how they managed wharncliffe crags, it's a similar (and frankly desperate) bid of preservation over natural evolution, top down management at it's worst and you have my full support!
I have a couple of questions, If I may. when are the deer most likely to be on the moor, my friends and I would love to go there to catch a look of them, we don't mind that it might be dawn on a Sunday!
This leads me to my next question, as the site is clearly a public open space, is there any objections to my friends and I (4 or 5 of us) camping on the moor? We are firm enforcers of "leave no trace" bushcraft camping and you would never know we had been there. This would also make spotting deer simpler, as we arrive the previous day on public transport and thus don't create a great disturbance by arriving in vehicles at silly o'clock in the morning!
Is there any other way in which I can help with your campaign?
