May. Hmm.Parts of the country were reporting hard frosts, but not here. Instead it was gloomy cloud. But the light was odd and bits of soft hail fell. A small group of deer stood in the gloom under some trees. Then quite heavy snow for a bit before stopping suddenly. Bright sunshine followed.
