Veiled

Early this Sunday morning the area was covered in moist foggy air, good news for those who love cobwebs.

The spider engineers, to a non-expert, seem to belong in two categories, the classic web that every child will draw and the other kind made by a messier worker who creates a veiled enclosure.

We were lucky in a way usually reserved for the dogged regular "whatever the weather" walker. On top of Blacka Hill the sun appeared for 10 minutes and we thought all the moisture would burn back. Sadly it only lasted for ten minutes.
Still it gave us time to admire more webs highlighted in startling contrast.

It was at this point that the fog returned as if to say "You've had your ration"
