Picturesque
There are two waterfalls on Blacka. Neither is large but each provides its own bit of drama after heavy rain; and a sunny morning helps. This one, running down into the stream known as Blacka Dyke, is easily more accessible than that in the other valley. This year is the first we've been able to enjoy it without having the power lines frowning overhead.
A few years ago as a concession to the picturesque a couple of trees were removed to give a better view of the falls from the path. That worked quite well without compromising the natural feeling of the view. Though it would have been much better if the wood had been taken away rather than left in tidy piles.
