The cataract was sounding again this morning and the water on the paths was struggling to find places to go.
The view along the terrace path could have been better if the sun had obliged to light up the foam on the falls.
A year ago this view looking over to the Blacka gorge was blighted by the power line straddling the path.
It is now one of the best places to be and the sounding of the torrents was enough to drown out the songs of warblers.
