Launch?

A stock market launch is being considered for the Old Wall Caff. The customer base has expanded to such an extent that more investment would help and the present operators can hardly cope.* Costs are also rising. There must be scope somewhere for investors to get a good return. The present situation may be a delight but can also be alarming. They are waiting in the trees to descend in a sometimes squabbling mass. And birds flying in your face as if to say 'Get on with it!' can be disconcerting.

Some local birds have decided that spring is now being launched. Song from thrushes, both kinds, robins and dunnocks added to the constant calls of blue and great tits is a response to the mild temperatures, the brighter morning and perhaps the plentiful supply of food and water. The blackbird's not been heard in song yet, though he now has a mate in the background.

* Help would genuinely be appreciated if  some serious winter weather comes along - there's still time. Someone with a 4X4 might be able to get to the site and deliver a service to our customers. If you can help please contact me.
