Exotic

After a slow start the sun breaks through dramatically in the woods near the car park. The rhododendron does its bit to create an exotic atmosphere. But the lead particpants are the birds, all native residents before the visitors arrive. The sound is overwhelming and even more impressive when you take into account that they are battling against the rush hour traffic, yards away.

But even before the sun struggled through the exotic theme had begun near the stream.
