Neither do we expect to see the dryad herself though that would make it well worth coming. Usually portrayed as an attractive female, such as to gladden the eye of any passing pensioner, she is a tree spirit most commonly associated with oaks. These, as can be seen, are on sycamore, the ones near the road.
