Unfortunately it's not possible to avoid commenting on the wildlife trust's dreadful management plan draft. It's not much fun to read about it and it's even less fun to write about it. But they've set a deadline of the end of this month and there's a lot of it, nearly all highly questionable. If it goes ahead in this form it will be very bad for those things I and others have particularly loved about Blacka over the years. Comments made here will be put towards a response. This means there will be less time to devote to wildlife etc. This is the progressively corrosive effect of bureaucracy.
