Not pretty but staggering and beautiful, the features of Blacka in damp February are not for everyone. Those who, like Mary, want 'pretty maids all in a row' should stay away.
There are parts where dead wood dominates, some standing some fallen, where moss and lichen take their chance to expand, dripping and writhing in the saturated air.
