Stonechats on Blacka suddenly make their presence felt. You can walk the same route every day for months. Then one morning there they are, all excitability, chatting and scolding noisily. I'm usually uncertain whether I'm seeing Stonechats or Whinchats, their markings being similar. But today they were closer and this one has more black to his head.
